ANATEL’s technical solutions are largely consistent with FCC technical proposals, but Brazil only opens the 5925 MHz – 6425 MHz band, and ANATEL requires integration with its official database BDTA.
Cambodia 柬埔寨
柬埔寨TRC對電信設備實施新的進口限制措施
2026年9月22日，柬埔寨電信監管局（TRC）發布正式公告，嚴禁進口、供應及經銷仿冒和二手電信設備，旨在遏止不合規設備的流入。TRC認為這些設備對公共安全、網路完整性及國家基礎設施構成重大風險。主要內容如下：

On September 22, 2026, the Cambodian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRC) issued an official announcement strictly prohibiting the import, supply, and distribution of counterfeit and second-hand telecom equipment, aiming to curb the influx of non-compliant devices. TRC considers these devices to pose significant risks to public safety, network integrity, and national infrastructure. The main points are as follows:
– Prohibit any entity from importing or selling counterfeit and second-hand telecom hardware (including mobile phones, routers, and network equipment), and only permit the sale of brand-new authorized products;
– All equipment must hold a valid type approval certificate issued by the TRC. Additionally, the relevant entity must maintain a valid “qualified agent” qualification or obtain an import license when conducting business;
– Relevant stakeholders must comply with the above requirements within 60 days from the date of the announcement. Violations may result in device confiscation, fines, and the closure of digital sales platforms.

Honduras 宏都拉斯
宏都拉斯擴大 WLAN 免個別許可頻段至 7125 MHz
2026 年 9 月 2 日，宏都拉斯國家電信委員會（CONATEL）發布並實施第 NR003/26 號決議，修訂《國家頻率分配計畫》（PNAF），將無線接取系統／無線區域網路（WAS/RLAN）的通用許可頻段由原先的 5925–6425 MHz 擴大至 5925–7125 MHz，新增開放 6425–7125 MHz 頻段供相關設備使用。
此修訂擴大了 Wi-Fi 6E 及 Wi-Fi 7 設備在宏都拉斯的可用頻譜範圍。製造商及出口商應確認產品的頻率支援範圍，並確保設備符合 CONATEL 適用的技術要求及型式認可規定。
On September 2, 2026, Honduras’ National Telecommunications Commission (CONATEL) published and brought into force Resolution NR003/26, amending the National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF). The resolution expands the frequency range covered by the general license for Wireless Access Systems and Radio Local Area Networks (WAS/RLAN) from 5925–6425 MHz to 5925–7125 MHz, making the additional 6425–7125 MHz segment available for relevant devices.
This amendment broadens the available spectrum for Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 equipment in Honduras. Manufacturers and exporters should verify their products’ supported frequency ranges and ensure compliance with applicable CONATEL technical requirements and type approval regulations.

印度延後 Standalone Hard Disk Drives 強制 BIS 註冊期限至 2027 年 5 月 1 日

On October 16, 2026, India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) issued Notification S.O. 5689(E), extending the implementation timeline for Standalone Hard Disk Drives under the Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement of Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021 (CRO 2021).
The requirement, originally scheduled to take effect on November 5, 2026, has been postponed to May 1, 2027. The applicable products remain subject to Indian Standard IS 13252 (Part 1):2010 and the relevant conformity assessment and registration requirements under the BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS).
The extension applies to newly covered standalone hard disk drives other than USB Type External Hard Disk Drives, which remain governed by the existing provisions. Manufacturers and importers should adjust their product testing and BIS registration plans according to the revised timeline.
Japan 日本
日本MIC將於2027年4月起對IP終端設備實施軟體更新及介面安全要求
2026年9月24日，日本總務省（MIC）發布第346號公告，修訂了《終端設備規則》（1985年第31號省令），針對部分可通過網路遠端更改通訊設定的IP電信終端設備，增設了相關安全要求，包括初始密碼、軟體安全更新機制、介面及非必要連接埠管理等要求。自2027年4月1日起，相關設備必須具備針對通信功能的軟體更新機制，並針對設備介面採取特定的安全措施（或實施同等效力的措施）。
On September 24, 2026, Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued Notification No. 346, revising the “Terminal Equipment Regulations” (Ministerial Ordinance No. 31 of 1985). For certain IP telecom terminal devices that can remotely change communication settings over the network, relevant security requirements were added, including initial passwords, software security update mechanisms, interface and non-essential port management, and other requirements. Starting April 1, 2027, relevant devices must have software update mechanisms for communication functions and implement specific security measures (or equivalent measures) for device interfaces.

日本MIC發布700 MHz頻段NGSO行動衛星通訊技術要求

On October 1, 2026, Japan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) issued Notification No. 363, revising relevant ministerial orders under the Radio Law to establish technical requirements for non-geostationary orbit (NGSO) satellite communication systems supporting mobile communications. This revision has officially taken effect since its issuance. The amendment sets corresponding bandwidth limits and operating conditions for different sub-bands, including regulations for devices operating in the 715–718 MHz frequency band.

Malaysia 馬來西亞
馬來西亞SIRIM自2026年11月5日開始實施通訊設備EMC抗擾度要求
2026年10月13日，馬來西亞標準與工業研究院（SIRIM）發布公告SQASI/CMCS/1/26/011，說明MCMC MTSFB TC T022：2026《通訊設備基礎要求》技術規範中電磁相容性（EMC）相關規定，EMC發射與抗擾度全部要求將於2026年11月5日正式全面實施。
– 隨著新規落地，EMC抗擾度項目新增評估收費。針對新的型式認可申請，EMC發射評估維持原有收費；若採用外部實驗室出具的抗擾度測試報告，須額外繳納評估費，使用SIRIM自有實驗室報告則免收該附加費用；
– 對於已取得型式認可的既有產品，原有的一般續證程序將不再適用。企業必須提交平行比較申請（PBC），僅針對抗擾度專案完成符合性評估，收費標準與新申請保持一致。提交報告缺少抗擾度相關資料的產品，需要補做相應測試。
On October 13, 2026, the Malaysian Institute of Standards and Industry (SIRIM) issued announcement SQASI/CMCS/1/26/011, notifying that the technical specifications for MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 “Basic Requirements for Communication Equipment” include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) rules, and that all EMC emission and immunity requirements will be fully implemented on November 5, 2026.
– With the implementation of the new regulations, an assessment fee for EMC immunity has been added. For new model approval applications, EMC emission assessment remains at the original 300 MYR; If using an external lab-issued immunity test report, an additional 500 MYR assessment fee must be paid; using SIRIM’s own laboratory report is exempt from this additional fee;
– For existing products that have already obtained model approval, the original regular renewal channel is no longer applicable. Enterprises must submit a Parallel Comparison Application (PBC), completing compliance assessment only for the immunity item, with the fee standard consistent with the new application. Products lacking relevant data on immunity must undergo corresponding testing.

馬來西亞 MCMC 更新三項通訊設備認證技術規範及對應認證要求
2026年10月2日，馬來西亞標準與工業研究院（SIRIM）發布公告SQASI/CMCS/1/26/010，通報了2026年8月4日核准並發布三項通訊及混合設備認證技術規範的認證要求，包含4G終端（MCMC MTSFB TC T015：2026，第2修訂版）、4G基站（MCMC MTSFB TC T023：2026）、航空無線電設備（MCMC MTSFB TC T020：2026）。相關規範已於官方網站的技術法規登錄平台公告。新規給予6個月過渡期，2027年2月4日起強制實施（按2026年8月4日發布時間計算過渡期）。
– 過渡期內證書展延要求如下：4G終端及基站原有證書展延最長僅1年；2027年2月4日後不再受理展延，企業須提交平行比較（PBC）申請，結合MCMC MTSFB T022基礎要求更新認證；航空無線電設備仍沿用原有證書展延程序；
– 新申請要求：過渡期內鼓勵按新標準進行認證，按舊標準執行的新申請證書有效期為1年；針對基地台設備，可採用類比報告佐證MCMC MTSFB TC T023：2026交互操作的合規。
On October 2, 2026, the Institute of Standards and Industry Malaysia (SIRIM) issued announcement SQASI/CMCS/1/26/010, outlining the certification requirements for three technical specifications for communication and hybrid equipment approved and released on August 4, 2026: 4G terminals (MCMC MTSFB TC T015:2026, 2nd revision), 4G base stations (MCMC MTSFB TC T023:2026), and aviation radio equipment (MCMC MTSFB TC T020:2026). The specifications have been published in the technical regulations register on the official website. The new regulations provide a 6-month transition period, with mandatory implementation starting February 4, 2027 (the transition period is calculated based on the release date of August 4, 2026).
– Certificate renewal requirements during the transition period are as follows: 4G terminal and base station original certificates can be renewed for up to one year; After February 4, 2027, renewal will no longer be supported; enterprises must submit a Parallel Comparison (PBC) application to update certification in conjunction with the MCMC MTSFB T022 basic requirements; Aviation radio equipment will continue to use the original renewal process;
– New application requirements: During the transition period, certification under the new standard is encouraged; the new application certificate under the old standard is valid for 1 year; For base station equipment, simulation reports can be used to verify compliance with MCMC MTSFB TC T023:2026 network interoperability.

馬來西亞MCMC發布網際網路協定第6版 (IPv6) 第二次修訂版 草案

墨西哥經濟部更新行動通訊設備海關查驗規定
2026年9月28日，墨西哥經濟部更新外貿規則（附錄2.4.1），強制部分HS代碼的電信與行動設備進口通關時須驗證符合NOM-221-SCFI-2017及NOM-221/2-SCFI-2018標準，相關HS代碼及標準對應如下：
– NOM-221-SCFI-2017（IMEI識別碼）：8517.18.99；
– NOM-221/2-SCFI-2018（頻譜技術規範，700-2500MHz）：8517.13.01、8517.14.91、8517.18.99、8517.62.17、8517.69.99。
On September 28, 2026, Mexico’s Ministry of Economy updated its foreign trade rules (Appendix 2.4.1), mandating that certain HS codes for telecommunications and mobile device imports must verify compliance with NOM-221-SCFI-2017 and NOM-221/2-SCFI-2018 standards at the border. The corresponding HS codes and standards are as follows:

Nigeria 奈及利亞
奈及利亞NCC加強對具備SIM卡功能的設備進行型號核准合規管理
2026年9月9日，奈及利亞通信委員會（NCC）發布新聞稿，宣布針對具備SIM卡功能的設備建立一套自動化的型式認可合規管理架構，該架構由「設備管理系統」（DMS）平臺提供支援。該系統包含一個「中央設備識別碼登錄資料庫」（CEIR），用於記錄奈及利亞境內具備SIM卡功能的通訊設備資訊，其中包括國際行動設備識別碼（IMEI）等資料。所有具備SIM卡功能的通訊設備在進入奈及利亞之前，均須進行註冊。未經註冊的設備將不被允許在奈及利亞的網路上運作。該框架的實施分為多個階段，首階段工作包括：將既有庫存設備納入系統管理，並對新進口的具備SIM卡功能的設備進行註冊與認證。

On September 9, 2026, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) issued a press release announcing the establishment of an automated model approval compliance framework for devices with SIM card functionality, supported by the Device Management System (DMS) platform. This system includes a “Central Device Identity Registry” (CEIR) to record information on SIM card-enabled communication devices within Nigeria, including data such as the International Mobile Device Identification Number (IMEI). All SIM card-enabled communication devices must be registered before entering Nigeria. Unregistered devices will not be allowed to operate on Nigeria’s networks. The implementation of this framework is divided into several phases. The first phase includes incorporating existing inventory devices into system management and registering and certifying newly imported SIM card-enabled devices.
For existing device stock already in Nigeria, the registration deadline was extended to October 6, 2026. The NCC also allowed businesses still completing the necessary licensing procedures to begin IMEI registration while their applications were being processed.
The enhanced device verification system took effect on October 7, 2026. Devices that fail to meet applicable approval and verification requirements may be restricted from accessing Nigerian mobile telecommunications networks. Manufacturers and importers should ensure that device model approvals, applicable business licences and IMEI registration requirements are fulfilled.
Serbia 塞爾維亞
塞爾維亞更新無線電設備法規，2027年起取消強制 CoC 證書
塞爾維亞電信主管機關（RATEL）頒布新版無線電設備法規（Rulebook on Radio Equipment No. 24/2024），對標歐盟無線電設備指令（RED 2014/53/EU）。主要法規變更如下：
– CoC 證書過渡期： 自2027年1月1日起，無線電產品將全面取消強制申請塞爾維亞國家級 CoC（Certificate of Conformity）證書，產品可直接標示 CE Mark 通關與銷售。2026年12月31日前，塞爾維亞 CoC 仍為強制性要求。
– 出具塞爾維亞語 DoC： 自2027年起，製造商不能直接使用通用歐盟英文版 CE DoC，而必須依據法規附錄（Annex V）出具塞爾維亞語版本的符合性聲明（Serbian DoC），內容需引用塞爾維亞本國 Rulebook 與相對應之標準。
The Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Postal Services of Serbia (RATEL) has implemented the new Rulebook on Radio Equipment (Official Gazette of RS, No. 24/2024), aligning national requirements with the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED 2014/53/EU). Key regulatory updates include:
– Certificate of Conformity (CoC) Transition: Effective January 1, 2027, the mandatory requirement for national Serbian CoC certification for radio equipment will be officially removed. CE marking will be directly accepted for market access. The national CoC regime remains mandatory through December 31, 2026.
– Serbian Language DoC Requirement: From 2027 onward, standard English EU CE DoCs cannot be used directly. Manufacturers must issue a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) in the Serbian language following the format prescribed in Annex V, explicitly referencing the national Rulebook and applicable standards.
South Korea 韓國
韓國 RRA 提議修訂終端設備技術標準，擬調整 IP 攝影機監管範圍
韓國國家無線電研究院（RRA）於 2026 年 9 月 15 日發布第 2026-52 號公告，就《終端設備技術標準》（Technical Standards for Terminal Equipment）部分修訂草案徵求公眾意見。此次修訂旨在調整 IP 攝影機的監管適用範圍，並減輕業者重複測試的負擔。
主要修訂內容如下：
1）修訂術語定義： 調整「影像資訊處理設備」（visual information processing device）的定義，參照韓國《個人資訊保護法》對固定式影像資訊處理設備的定義。
2）調整 IP 攝影機適用範圍： 擬新增例外條款，將無法透過影像資訊識別特定個人的網際網路協定（IP）影像資訊處理設備排除於相關技術標準的適用範圍之外。
3）減少重複測試： 同步修訂《廣播通訊設備符合性評估公告》（Notification on Conformity Assessment of Broadcasting and Communications Equipment），以減少與資訊安全相關認證重複的測試要求，降低業者的合規負擔。
公眾意見徵詢期間： 2026 年 9 月 15 日至 11 月 13 日。
本次修訂仍處於草案階段，最終適用範圍及實施要求應以正式公布的修訂內容為準。
On September 15, 2026, South Korea’s National Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued Notice No. 2026-52, proposing amendments to the Technical Standards for Terminal Equipment. The draft aims to refine the regulatory scope applicable to IP cameras and reduce the compliance burden associated with duplicate testing.
The proposed amendments include:
1) Revision of Definitions: Amend the definition of “visual information processing device” with reference to the definition of fixed video surveillance devices under South Korea’s Personal Information Protection Act.
2) Adjustment of IP Camera Scope: Introduce a proviso to exclude IP-based visual information processing devices from the relevant technical requirements where specific individuals cannot be identified through the video information.
3) Reduction of Duplicate Testing: Concurrently amend the Notification on Conformity Assessment of Broadcasting and Communications Equipment to alleviate duplicate testing requirements associated with information security certifications.
Public consultation period: September 15 to November 13, 2026.
The amendments remain at the draft stage. The final regulatory scope and implementation requirements will be subject to the officially adopted amendments.

Togo 多哥共和國
多哥共和國ARCEP發布新設備認證程序
2026年9月23日，多哥共和國電子通訊與郵政監管局（ARCEP）發布了第152/ARCEP/DG/26號決議，全面修訂了現有的終端及無線電設備認證和安裝人員資格認證制度。此次更新廢除了2001年的舊版法規，並針對無線電及終端設備的製造商、進口商和經銷商，引入了更為嚴格的合規要求。主要變化如下：
– 強制性認證：所有擬進入多哥市場的電子通訊及無線電設備，均須取得正式的型式認可（Type Approval），以驗證其是否符合射頻（RF）、比吸收率（SAR）及電磁相容性（EMC）標準；

– 樣品要求：申請認證時須提供功能性樣品，該樣品將由ARCEP永久保留，以供後續監管程序使用。
On September 23, 2026, the Electronic Communications and Postal Regulatory Authority (ARCEP) of Togo issued Resolution 152/ARCEP/DG/26, comprehensively revising the existing framework for terminal and radio equipment certification and installer qualification certification. This update repealed the old 2001 regulations and introduced stricter compliance requirements for manufacturers, importers, and distributors of radio and terminal equipment. The main changes are as follows:
– Mandatory certification: All electronic communication and radio equipment intended to enter the Togo market must undergo formal Type Approval to verify compliance with RF, specific absorption rate (SAR), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards;
– Labeling requirements: Approved devices must bear a non-removable label indicating the specific approval number, date, and ARCEP mark. However, this requirement is not currently being enforced; further guidance will be issued in due course;
– Installation personnel qualification certification: The new regulations require that any organization engaged in radio equipment installation, maintenance, or commissioning must first obtain ARCEP qualification certification;
– Sample requirements: Functional samples must be provided when applying for certification, which will be permanently retained by ARCEP for subsequent regulatory purposes.

土耳其於Ecodesign legislation公布外部電源的新法規
土耳其Ecodesign legislation公布了外部電源的新法規。該土耳其公報與歐盟委員會第2025/2052號條例保持一致，包括其適用範圍、效率限值、USB-C互通性要求、通用充電器標誌、線材標示、突破測試、技術文件以及市場監督容許誤差。該公告包含重要的當地實施要素，包括：

Turkey has announced new regulations for external power supplies under its Ecodesign legislation. The Turkish Communique is aligned with Commission Regulation (EU) 2025/2052, including its scope, efficiency limits, USB-C interoperability requirements, Common Charger logo, cable markings, surge testing, technical documentation, and market-surveillance tolerances.
The communique contains important local implementation elements, including:
•Turkish legal and authority references
•Turkish market-surveillance procedures
•The MERSİS number in the product information
•The expressly prescribed Turkish spare-part packaging and website statement
•Türkiye specific compliance and transition provisions

On September 16, 2026, the Secretariat of Energy issued Resolución 242/2026, raising the minimum Seasonal Energy Efficiency Index (IEEE) for air conditioners up to 10.5 kW from > 5.60 to > 8.50 (corresponding to Class A under IRAM 62406:2019) to accelerate inverter technology adoption.
On October 9, 2026, the Secretariat of Industry, Commerce and SMEs issued Resolución 408/2026, establishing the phased implementation timeline:
– Completely Built-Up (CBU) Imports: Phase 1 applies from December 31, 2026; full compliance with IEEE > 8.50 is required by March 31, 2027.
– Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) Local Assembly: Heating-related requirements apply from December 31, 2028; full compliance for both cooling and heating modes is required by December 31, 2030.
CBU units purchased prior to the publication of the resolution are exempt. The regulation applies solely to newly market-entered products; existing installations remain unaffected.

On September 11, 2026, Brazil’s National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (INMETRO) launched Public Consultation No. 15/2026, proposing amendments to Ordinance No. 148/2022 and the revocation of Ordinance No. 144/2021. The proposal aims to incorporate spin dryers into the consolidated conformity assessment framework for household and similar electrical appliances, streamlining the regulatory requirements applicable to these products.
Under the draft, existing certificates would not require an immediate new certification process. Instead, they would need to transition to the consolidated requirements at the next maintenance stage or within 24 months from the effective date of the new regulation, whichever is later. Ordinance No. 144/2021 would be revoked within 24 months from the effective date of the new regulation.
Public consultation period: September 11 to November 10, 2026.
Note: The proposal remains under public consultation. The final requirements and implementation arrangements will be subject to the officially published regulation.

On September 25, 2026, the Chile Superintendence of Electricity and Fuels (SEC) notified WTO regarding a draft protocol for analysis/safety testing of Electrical Products PE No. 1/45:2026: Air Purifier.
This protocol establishes the requirements for the safety certification procedure for air purifiers (electrical air-cleaning appliances) intended for household and similar use, powered by a single-phase AC supply not exceeding 250 V, including direct current (DC) appliances and battery-operated appliances.

哥斯大黎加已認可墨西哥標準 NOM-023-ENER-2018《分離式、自由送風、無風管空調的能源效率：限值、測試方法及標示》與中美洲技術法規 RTCA 23.01.80：21 的等效性。
此項認可僅適用於證書編號 ANC2501C00014407 所載的數值，以及 EQ 53-2026 號意見書附件 A 所列的設備，不代表所有符合 NOM-023-ENER-2018 的空調均可自動適用等效認可。
相關業者應確認產品是否列於指定附件範圍內，並持續遵守哥斯大黎加適用的能效要求及其他相關法規義務。
Costa Rica has recognized the equivalence of Mexican standard NOM-023-ENER-2018, Energy Efficiency in Split-Type, Free-Delivery, Non-Ducted Air Conditioners: Limits, Test Methods and Labelling, with Central American Technical Regulation RTCA 23.01.80:21.
This recognition is limited to the values contained in certificate ANC2501C00014407 and the equipment listed in Annex A to Opinion EQ 53-2026. It does not constitute blanket recognition of NOM-023-ENER-2018 for all air conditioners.
Relevant manufacturers and importers should verify whether their products fall within the specified scope and continue to comply with all other applicable energy efficiency and regulatory requirements in Costa Rica.

On September 22, 2026, the Energy Directorate of Costa Rica’s Ministry of Environment and Energy (MINAE) issued Resolution No. 0032-2026-DE, recognizing the equivalence of AHRI Standard 210/240-2024, Performance Rating of Unitary Air-Conditioning & Air-Source Heat Pump Equipment, with Central American Technical Regulation RTCA 23.01.78:20, which establishes energy efficiency requirements for inverter split-type, variable-refrigerant-flow, free-discharge, ductless air conditioners.
The recognition is limited to the performance values specified in AHRI Certificate No. 216021576 and the equipment identified in the resolution, including a specified Daikin outdoor unit model. It does not constitute blanket recognition of AHRI Standard 210/240-2024 for all air conditioners.
The decision is based on Executive Decree No. 44037-MINAE, Executive Decree No. 43616-COMEX-MEIC-MINAE, and COMIECO Resolution No. 451-2021. The effective date of the recognition for public application should be confirmed against the relevant publication in Costa Rica’s official gazette.

馬來西亞新增電動馬達及冷熱飲水機能效管制，2027 年 1 月起生效
2026 年 8 月 6 日，馬來西亞能源委員會（Energy Commission，Suruhanjaya Tenaga，ST）發布《能耗產品指南》第 1 次修訂版（GP/ST/No.50/2024（Pind.1/2026），將電動馬達及冷熱飲水機新增納入受管制能耗產品範圍，並訂定相關最低能源效能標準（MEPS）及能源標示要求。
新增產品的適用範圍及主要要求如下：
– 電動馬達： 適用於額定功率 0.75 kW 至 1，000 kW 的三相、單速、鼠籠式感應馬達，須符合 IEC 60034 系列標準及 IE3 能效等級要求。
– 冷熱飲水機： 涵蓋家用儲水式及即熱式機型，須依 MS 2799：2024 進行能效測試及評級。
兩類新增產品的相關要求均自 2027 年 1 月 1 日起生效。製造商及進口商應提前確認產品適用範圍、測試標準、最低能效等級及能源標示要求，以確保符合馬來西亞市場准入規定。
On August 6, 2026, Malaysia’s Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga, ST) issued the first revision of the Guidelines on Energy-Using Product (GP/ST/No.50/2024 (Pind.1/2026)). The revision adds electric motors and hot and cold water dispensers to the scope of regulated energy-using products and introduces applicable Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) and energy labelling requirements.
The scope and key requirements for the newly regulated products are as follows:
– Electric Motors: Applies to three-phase, single-speed, squirrel-cage induction motors rated from 0.75 kW to 1,000 kW. Motors must comply with the applicable IEC 60034 series standards and meet the IE3 energy efficiency level.
– Hot and Cold Water Dispensers: Covers domestic storage-type and instant-type water dispensers, subject to energy efficiency testing and rating in accordance with MS 2799:2024.
The new requirements for both product categories will take effect on January 1, 2027. Manufacturers and importers should review the applicable product scope, testing standards, minimum efficiency levels and energy labelling requirements in advance to ensure compliance with Malaysian market access regulations.

On July 23, 2026, the Ministry of Mining and Energy (MoME) issued the Regulation on Eco-Design Requirements for Household Tumble Dryers (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia No. 67/2026-131) to establish eco-design, energy efficiency, conformity assessment, information disclosure and market surveillance requirements for household tumble dryers. The regulation entered into force on July 31, 2026, and will apply from Sept. 1, 2027.

The National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore is seeking feedback on the following proposals:

科威特於2026年8月17日針對照明產品實施了兩項能效標準：

• KWS 1902-2：2024 —— 照明產品的能效、功能及標籤要求 —— 第2部分
上述標準涵蓋的所有照明產品，均須按照相關監管要求，在科威特工業管理局（PAI）的系統中進行註冊，為每個產品型號獲取專屬能效標籤，並將該標籤印製在產品包裝上。
目前，能效註冊的強制執行日期已進行調整並延長至2026年12月31日。
PAI 註冊系統已新增豁免產品註冊入口，符合豁免條件的產品，同樣需要提交註冊、申領能效豁免證書，並在產品包裝上加貼豁免QR Code。
On August 17, 2026, Kuwait brought into effect two energy efficiency standards for lighting products:
• KWS 1902-1:2024 ─ Energy Efficiency, Functionality and Labeling Requirements for Lighting Products – Part 1
• KWS 1902-2:2024 ─ Energy Efficiency, Functionality and Labeling Requirements for Lighting Products – Part 2
All lighting products covered by the above standards must, in accordance with the relevant regulatory requirements, be registered in the system of the Kuwait Public Authority for Industry (PAI), obtain a dedicated energy efficiency label for each product model, and have the label printed on the product packaging.
The official mandatory effective date for energy efficiency registration has now been updated and extended to December 31, 2026.
An exemption registration entry has been added to the PAI registration system. Products meeting the exemption criteria are also required to complete registration, apply for an energy efficiency exemption certificate, and affix the exemption QR code on the packaging.

2026 年 9 月 30 日，烏克蘭內閣通過第 1207 號決議（Resolution No. 1207），核准新版《外部電源供應器生態設計要求技術法規》，並於 2026 年 10 月 7 日公布。新規將於 2027 年 4 月 7 日生效，屆時取代現行第 150 號決議（Resolution No. 150）。
新法規以歐盟 Regulation（EU）2019/1782 為基礎，取代原先參照的 Regulation（EC）No 278/2009，進一步與歐盟外部電源供應器生態設計要求接軌。
新規生效後，相關外部電源供應器須符合新版技術法規。製造商及進口商應提前檢視現有測試報告、技術文件及烏克蘭符合性聲明（DoC），確認是否需要補充測試或更新文件，以確保產品符合新規要求。
On September 30, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 1207, approving a new Technical Regulation on Ecodesign Requirements for External Power Supplies. The resolution was published on October 7, 2026, and will enter into force on April 7, 2027, replacing the existing Resolution No. 150.
The new regulation is based on EU Regulation (EU) 2019/1782, replacing the previously referenced Regulation (EC) No. 278/2009, and further aligning Ukraine’s ecodesign requirements for external power supplies with the EU regulatory framework.
Upon the new regulation’s entry into force, applicable external power supplies must comply with the revised technical requirements. Manufacturers and importers should review their existing test reports, technical documentation, and Ukrainian Declarations of Conformity (DoCs) in advance to determine whether additional testing or document updates are necessary to ensure compliance.

On September 17, 2026, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Resolution No. 1153, amending the national Technical Regulation on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Ukraine RoHS). The resolution was published and officially entered into force on September 19, 2026. Rather than altering the core scope of the regulation, this amendment revises and extends specific hazardous substance exemptions—particularly regarding lead (Pb) and mercury (Hg)—to align national law with recent EU RoHS Delegated Directives. This update maintains regulatory harmonization between Ukraine and EU Directive 2011/65/EU. Manufacturers supplying the Ukrainian market should review their current supply chain exemptions (such as solders, alloys, and optical glass) against the updated expiration dates and conditions.

［法規草案］ 印度工業和國內貿易促進部（DPIIT）提出《商用壓力鍋品質管制令》（Commercial Pressure Cooker（Quality Control）Order）草案，擬要求商用壓力鍋符合印度標準 IS 17870：2022《商用壓力鍋—規範》，並依據 BIS《符合性評估條例》2018 的 Scheme I 取得印度標準局（BIS）認證及 ISI 標誌。
草案擬定的實施過渡期如下，均自相關命令於印度官方電子公報（e-Gazette）公布之日起計算：

India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has proposed a draft Commercial Pressure Cooker (Quality Control) Order, which would require commercial pressure cookers to comply with IS 17870:2022 — Commercial Pressure Cooker — Specification and obtain certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) under Scheme I of the BIS (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018, with the BIS Standard Mark (ISI Mark).
The proposed transition periods, calculated from the date of publication of the Order in the e-Gazette, are as follows:
– General Enterprises: 6 months
– Small Enterprises: 9 months
– Micro Enterprises: 12 months
The draft also proposes an exemption for products manufactured domestically in India exclusively for export. The proposal remains at the draft stage, and the final notification date and implementation arrangements are yet to be confirmed. Manufacturers and exporters should monitor further regulatory developments and assess their BIS certification requirements in advance.

The notified draft Technical Regulation establishes the technical, safety, and labelling requirements for the production, importation, and marketing of low-voltage automatic switches with overcurrent protection for household, commercial, and similar installations.

This initiative aims to enhance the cybersecurity resilience of critical IoT products in the domestic market, ensure product security, and safeguard consumer rights.
