根據阿拉伯聯合大公國RoHS法規，列入RoHS管制範圍的產品必須持有ECAS RoHS符合性證書才可以進入阿拉伯聯合大公國市場。

由於近期申請阿拉伯聯合大公國ECAS RoHS 認證的數量激增，阿拉伯聯合大公國管制機構ESMA剛宣布臨時認證方案，即日起至2019年12月31日前，ECAS RoHS證書可以僅基於阿拉伯聯合大公國當地進口商或代理商簽署的RoHS 符合性聲明簽發，不需要提供RoHS測試報告。臨時方案適用於以下產品類別：

1. Large household appliances
2. Small household appliances
3. IT and Telecommunication equipment
4. Consumer equipment
5. Lighting equipment
6. Electrical and electronic tools (with the exception of large-scale stationary industrial tools)
7. Toys leisure and sport equipment
8. Medical devices (with the exception of all implanted and infected products)
9. Monitoring and control instruments including industrial monitoring and control instrument
10. Automatic dispensers
11. Other EEE not covered by any of the categories above or，and falling within the definition of Article one.

聲明需涵蓋的10項有害物質如下：

1. Lead (Pb)
2. Mercury (Hg)
3. Cadmium (Cd)
4. Hexavalent chromium (Vi)
5. Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB)
6. Polybrominated biphenyl ethers (PBDE)
7. Bis (2-ethyhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
8. Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP)
9. Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
10. Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP)

2019年12月31日之後將不能採用臨時方案，需要基於RoHS報告申請新的證書。
