【法規草案】智利電力暨燃料監管局（SEC）發布燃料產品安全測試與認證協定草案（PC）No. 65/3:2026 – 燃氣式戶外紅外線庭院加熱器。
此認證協定依據 CSA/ANSI Z83.26:2020 – CSA 2.37:2020 標準，制定使用氣體燃料之戶外紅外線輻射加熱器的認證程序。
此外，此協定涵蓋的產品必須符合 SEC 第 745:2004 號豁免決議或其任何替代規定。這表示該設備必須配備內建軟管及調節器進行銷售。
The Superintendency of Electricity and Fuels (SEC) of Chile has announced draft Safety Test Protocol for Safety Testing Fuel Products (PC) No. 65/3:2026 – Gas-fired outdoor infra-red patio heaters. This protocol establishes the certification procedure for outdoor infrared radiant heaters using gaseous fuels, in accordance with CSA/ANSI Z83.26:2020 – CSA 2.37:2020. Additionally, products covered by this protocol must comply with SEC Exempt Resolution No. 745:2004, or any provision that replaces it. This means that the appliance must be marketed with an incorporated hose and regulator.

On July 7, 2026, the Telecom Engineering Centre (TEC) of India issued a public consultation seeking public input on the amendment to the General Requirements for Wi-Fi Access Point Equipment (TEC 38020: 2026). The key points of the revision are as follows:
− Added Wi-Fi 6GHz band and Wi-Fi 7 standards, along with related parameters and technical requirements;
− It is stipulated that if the device has passed Wi-Fi Alliance certification, the tested parameters can be exempted from TEC certification testing;
− Require the device to meet the applicable Communication Equipment Security Assurance Requirements (ITSAR) requirements;
− Updated cited safety standards and EMC standards to the latest versions.

印度發布 2026 年 5.9 GHz 頻段車聯網（Cellular V2X）車載單元免執照規則，允許符合規定的 Cellular V2X（C-V2X）車載設備，在印度 5.9 GHz 頻段免申請無線電執照即可使用。
需注意的是法規免除的是無線電執照（Radio Licence），設備型式核准（Equipment Type Approval）仍為必要要求。
India published “Use of On Board Unit for Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything Communication in the 5.9 GHz band (Exemption from Licensing Requirements) Rules, 2026”. This rule allows compliant Cellular V2X (C-V2X) vehicle-mounted devices to operate in the 5.9 GHz band in India without a radio license. It should be noted that the regulation exempts the user from a radio license, but equipment type approval is still required.

印度發佈2026 年 77–81 GHz 頻段短程汽車雷達系統免執照規則
印度發布 G.S.R. 468(E)：2026 年 77–81 GHz 頻段短程車用雷達系統免執照規則，將 77–81 GHz 車用短程雷達（Short-Range Automotive Radar，SRARS）列為免無線電執照（Licence Exempt）的設備。
也就是說，符合技術條件的車用雷達，無須另外申請頻率使用執照，即可在印度使用。
需注意法規免除的是無線電執照（Radio Licence），設備型式核准（Equipment Type Approval）仍為必要要求。
India published “G.S.R. 468(E): Use of Short-Range Automotive Radar System in the 77–81 GHz band (Exemption from Licensing Requirements) Rules, 2026”. The rule classifies 77–81 GHz Short-Range Automotive Radar (SRARS) as license-exempt equipment. This means that compliant automotive radar can be used in India without requiring a separate radio frequency license. It should be noted that the regulation exempts the user from a radio license, but equipment type approval is still required.

BIS clarified about the migration to IS/IEC 62368-1:2023, providing further clarification on the migration requirements for CRS products from IS 13252 (Part 1):2010 and IS 616:2017 to IS/IEC 62368-1:2023. The guidelines cover the upgrade process for existing BIS licenses, migration application procedures, and transitional arrangements. They also encourage manufacturers to initiate the migration as early as possible and confirm that components and end products may undergo testing and certification in parallel, helping to shorten overall certification timelines and reduce the risk of laboratory and certification bottlenecks before the transition deadline.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has proposed a partial revision to the Notice on the Interpretation of the Ministerial Ordinance Specifying Technical Requirements for Electrical Appliances and Materials. The proposed revision updates the interpretation of Japan’s ministerial ordinance on technical requirements for electrical appliances and materials by consolidating Appendix 2, 3, and 5 into Appendix 12, while also revising Appendix 12 to reflect the latest international standards, including IEC standards and the most recent corresponding JIS versions.
Lebanon 黎巴嫩
黎巴嫩 TRA 引入汽車零組件型式認證一年過渡期
黎巴嫩 TRA 目前針對汽車零組件提供為期一年的過渡期。在過渡期間，相關產品進口無須申請 TRA型式認證證書。然而，TRA 仍建議汽車零組件製造商及汽車製造商善用此過渡期，提前申請 TRA 證書，以利過渡期結束後順利符合相關要求。
The Lebanon TRA has introduced a one-year transition period for automotive components, during which a TRA Type Approval Certificate is not required for importation. Nevertheless, the TRA encourages automotive component manufacturers and vehicle manufacturers to apply for the certificate during the transition period to ensure compliance once the exemption expires.

馬來西亞MCMC 更新短程設備要求和技術規範
馬來西亞通訊與多媒體委員會（MCMC）發布了《MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2026 Short Range Devices （ SRD ）》（第三次修訂）以及《 MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 Communication Equipment – Baseline Requirements》（通訊設備基本要求）。
MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2026 的主要更新如下：
• 安全、電磁相容性（EMC）、產品標示及電源等基線要求已移至 MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026；
• 新增 6 GHz SRD／RLAN（5925–6425 MHz）頻段；

The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) has published the third revision of MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2026 – Short Range Devices (SRD) and introduced MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 – Communication Equipment – Baseline Requirements.
Key changes in MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2026
• Baseline requirements covering electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), product marking, and power supply have been relocated to MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026.
• Introduces the 6 GHz SRD/RLAN frequency band (5925–6425 MHz).
• Adds requirements for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) road and rail applications, including operation in the 8500–10600 MHz frequency range.
• Revises the 5 GHz WLAN/RLAN frequency allocations and introduces separate indoor and outdoor transmit power limits.
• Adopts ETSI EN 303 687 and ETSI EN 303 883 as applicable technical standards.
• Removes the 3400–3700 MHz UWB frequency allocation included in previous editions.
• Introduces a new 500 mW EIRP category for operation in the 13.553–13.567 MHz frequency band.
MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 – Communication Equipment – Baseline Requirements
Regulatory Framework Restructuring
• 2020 Framework: MCMC MTSFB TC T007 included both RF technical requirements and general baseline requirements, such as product marking, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
• 2026 Framework: The general baseline requirements have been consolidated into the newly established MCMC MTSFB TC T022:2026 – Communication Equipment – Baseline Requirements, while MCMC MTSFB TC T007:2026 is now focused exclusively on RF technical requirements for Short Range Devices (SRDs).
• Compliance approach: T007 specifies the applicable RF technical requirements, whereas product marking, electrical safety, EMC, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), power density, and other applicable baseline requirements are addressed in T022, depending on the product category.

On July 15, 2026, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Council (MCMC) solicited feedback on new IoT functional safety, cybersecurity, and privacy management standards through the Technical Standards Forum Bhd (MTSFB). The main contents are as follows:
• The new technical standard will replace the existing MCMC MTSFB TC G013:2018;
• Malaysia’s existing IoT security standards include: Application Security MCMC MTSFB TC G031, Device Security MCMC MTSFB TC G031, Privacy Requirements MCMC MTSFB TC G031, and Functional Safety MCMC MTSFB TC G031. These standards are referenced in the new draft standards. Because the new standard references content from the above standards, the technical and compliance difficulties have greatly increased;
• The standard requires functional safety, network security, and privacy controls throughout the entire device lifecycle: vendors must provide long-term signed OTA firmware updates, vulnerability response mechanisms, continuous security monitoring, and fault traceability log retention.

On 29 May 2026, Mexico’s Secretariat of Economy (SE) published amendments to the General Rules and Criteria on Foreign Trade, introducing the following updates:
− Smartphones and other mobile phones classified under HS Codes 8517.13.01, 8517.14.91, and 8517.18.99 are no longer eligible for the simplified import compliance exemption. Subsequently, SNICE confirmed that, effective 1 July 2026, these products must demonstrate compliance with the applicable NOM standards, including NOM-001-SCFI-2018 and NOM-024-SCFI-2013, when imported into Mexico.
− SE will implement a new platform, PLATIICA (Plataforma Tecnológica Integral de Infraestructura de la Calidad), to manage information, services, procedures, and activities related to standardization, metrology, conformity assessment, market surveillance, and verification.
The amendments entered into force on 30 May 2026; however, the NOM compliance requirements for the above-mentioned mobile phone products become applicable on 1 July 2026.

On July 24, 2026, the Korea National Radio Research Agency (RRA) issued Notice No. 2026-4, amending the Notice on Conformity Assessment of Broadcasting and Telecommunications Equipment. The primary revision reflects the amendments to the supplementary provisions of the Technical Standards for Radio Equipment for Telecommunications Services, incorporating the scope of 5G NR mobile communication radio equipment into the Conformity Assessment Notice, including:
1) Transmitting and receiving equipment for Land Mobile Stations;
2) Transmitting and receiving equipment and repeater equipment for Base Stations;
3) Other related equipment.This notification takes effect on the date of its publication.

東加 CCT 正式受理無線設備型式認可申請
東加無線通訊設備型式認可（Type Approval）主管機關已由 Ministry of Communications（MIC）移交至新成立的 Communications Commission Tonga（CCT）。自 2026 年 7 月 1 日起，所有新的Type Approval 申請均由 CCT 負責受理。MIC 已核發的 Type Approval 證書原則上持續有效；後續的新申請、變更或續證案件應向 CCT 辦理。
The responsibility for wireless equipment Type Approval in Tonga has been transferred from the Ministry of Communications (MIC) to the newly established Communications Commission Tonga (CCT). Starting 1 July 2026, all new Type Approval applications are processed by CCT. Type Approval certificates issued previously by MIC are generally expected to remain valid. Future applications, amendments, or renewals should be submitted to CCT.

Vietnam publishes Circular No. 48/2026/TT-BCA on QCVN 11:2026/BCA on technical regulation for Surveillance Camera using Internet Protocol – Baseline cybersecurity requirements. It replaces current regulation QCVN 135:2024/BTTTT and is effective from 01 July 2026.

This document specifies energy efficiency grades，minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, testing methods and implementation requirements for room air conditioners. This document applies to room air conditioners with air cooling condensers, fully enclosed electric compressors, rated cooling capacity of not exceeding 14000W, T1 climate type and low ambient temperature air source heat pump air heaters with a nominal heating capacity of not more than 14000W. This document does not apply to mobile air conditioners, multi-split air conditioning (heat pump) units, ducted air conditioning (heat pump) units and kitchen air conditioners.

The principal amendments include expanding the inspection scope of batteries to cover secondary lithium cell blocks, battery packs, modules or systems; adopting updated versions of the applicable inspection standards; and introducing factory inspection as part of the conformity assessment procedures.

On July 10, 2026, Brazil officially published CONAMA Resolution 516/2026, introducing a new framework for hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The regulation took effect on the date of publication. This regulation sets mandatory limits on ten hazardous substances and establishes a new compliance framework that manufacturers and importers must adhere to before placing products on the Brazilian market.
The control of ten hazardous substances will be implemented in phases:
− Immediately: Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) ≤ 0.1%, Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) ≤ 0.1%;
− Effective after 180 days: Mercury (Hg) ≤ 0.1%;
− Effective after three years: Cadmium (Cd) ≤ 0.01%, Hexavalent Chromium (CrVI) ≤ 0.1%, Lead (Pb) ≤ 0.1%;

Products conforming to these standards must hold the corresponding certificates of conformity before entering Mexico to ensure compliance with the latest technical specifications, testing methods, and commercial information requirements.
During the transition period, valid certificates issued under previous standards will remain valid until they expire.

Valid mandatory product certification certificates already issued may continue to be used. Certificate conversion will be completed through a natural transition process, such as product change or renewal upon expiration.
